I couldn't find a period tracker I trusted for my daughter. So I built one.

Why I built this

My daughter is a teenager. When it was time for her to start tracking her period, I went looking for an app I could hand her without worrying. I couldn't find one I trusted.

Most apps want an account. They store data in the cloud. They push "content" advice, articles, things I didn't want her reading yet. Some collect information I'm not comfortable sharing with any company, let alone about my child.

So I built bloom. It lives on her phone. Everything stays on her device no cloud, no company, no account. She logs when her period starts and ends, how her flow was, and that's it. If a doctor ever asks, she opens the app and the answer is right there.

So I built it. And I'm sharing it for free because I know I'm not the only parent who felt this way.
